A RIA Novosti publication about a drone operator from Moscow City hitting a target in Chasovye Yar was deleted after criticism on Z-channels.
The Russian state propaganda agency RIA Novosti published on its Telegram channel and website a story about how the operator of the Ovod FPV drone hit a Ukrainian Armed Forces target near the town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region - at the same time, the drone was allegedly controlled using the new Orbit system directly from the apartments of the Moskva City business center.
"In the video, the drone operator talked about the results of the strike in a room with a view of the Moscow City skyscrapers from the window. "We are more than a thousand kilometers from the scene of the incident. The application was successful," he said.
After the publication, Z-bloggers began to actively criticize this publication.
"Did I understand correctly that after this video, if a kamikaze UAV hits a skyscraper in Moscow, will the enemy claim that it hit the UAV operators?" - wrote the Romanov Light channel. "That's how "Moscow City" suddenly became a legitimate military target. Well done, you showed off," - noted the "Imperia ochen zla" channel.
Shortly after, the mention of "Moscow-City" disappeared from the RIA Novosti publication, and then the state agency deleted the video. The news is also unavailable on the agency's website itself.
By the way, on Tuesday, April 15, at night, UAVs attacked the Russian city of Kursk . Residents of the city reported a large number of explosions. One of the drones hit a high-rise building.
