New footage of a strike by Ukrainian drones on barracks in the settlement of Shuya in the Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation, where the 112th brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, involved in the shelling of Sumy on April 13, is stationed, has appeared online.
The relevant footage was shared by Russian social media.
Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazansky commented on the video. He noted that the most remarkable thing is that the command did not even take the soldiers to shelter before the strike on Shuya, while the drones flew slowly.
"It's amazing, but they didn't even take the soldiers to shelter. Although the drones were flying slowly and there was time to evacuate. That is, the soldiers just sat and waited for it to arrive. When they wrote that there were dead people there, I was still surprised. How did they not have time to escape? And it turns out that they didn't even try," he said.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that seven drones were allegedly shot down over the Ivanovo region. Telegram channels wrote that three private houses were damaged as a result of the attack. Previously, the attack on Shuya was carried out by Ukrainian UAVs of the "Lyuty" and "Bober" systems.
The city of Shuya is located in Ivanovo Oblast, 26 km northeast of Moscow Oblast.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, it was this brigade that struck Sumy on Palm Sunday.
As Apostrophe reported, UAVs attacked Shuya in the Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation from 08:00 to 09:40 on April 16.
