Advisor to the President of Ukraine on sanctions Vladyslav Vlasyuk commented on the changes that were noticed in the Russian "Calibers".
He wrote more about this on his Facebook page.
"We are constantly monitoring constructive updates to Russian weapons. Important work is the sanctions blocking of the possibility of obtaining foreign critical components," Vlasyuk notes.
According to him, over the past three years, the Russian Calibers have undergone the following changes:
"In the on-board computer, IDT, Texas Instruments (USA) microcircuits have been replaced with Russian analogues (made in China). In the control modules, Maxim Integrated, Cypress, AMD and other chips have also been abandoned - instead, RF-made radio elements are used. The altimeter has lost Altera, Analog Devices and AMD microcircuits (all - USA)."
The advisor to the President of Ukraine emphasizes that all this does not make the missile better, but one should not underestimate the enemy's military-industrial complex, because "there are many improvements there too."
