According to the report, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky sent a special message to the Argentine president, "so that his Argentine friend could attend at least the opening ceremony of the Summit." The opening is scheduled for June 15 (Saturday) in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
In addition, Clarin notes that about 20 organizations in Argentina representing the Ukrainian diaspora of about 500,000 Ukrainians have left a petition with a similar call. According to the report, such calls to join the Peace Summit came not only from Ukraine, but also from Washington.
A total of 90 countries will be represented by their leaders at the Summit in Switzerland, including several Latin American countries.
