Ukrainian startup Delfast has signed a contract with the Mexican police for the supply of domestic electric motorbikes, as was announced by the founder of Delfast Danilo Tonkopiy on his official Facebook page.
According to him, TopCop electric bikes have already been tested by the Mexicali city police.
IAs per Tonkopiy, three electric bikes have already been put to use in the city's downtown.
"Yey! TopCop electric bikes are on combat duty with the Mexican police! Mrs. Marina del Pilar Avila Olmed, the mayor of Mexicali Baja California, is with the bikes in the photo. She said that that from now on the best totally ecological (zero pollution) motorbikes will strengthen surveillance in the historic center of the city. I am incredibly proud!" the founder of the startup wrote on his Facebook page.
Notably, the contract for the supply of environmentally friendly transport was signed in late 2019. In Kyiv, electric motorbikes of the Ukrainian production Delfast set a world record on a one-charge range of driving - nearly 367 kilometers.
