In Zhytomyr region, flight tactical exercises with the aviation squadron of the tactical aviation brigade of the air command "Center" have been successfully completed, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on the official Facebook page.
The pilots practiced the repulsion of the enemy's air attack and bringing the aircraft back, when it is under attack. Furthermore, Ukrainian aviation soldiers learned how to counteract the DRG and precisely hit ground targets.
Ukrainian Fighters worked from several airfields.The complex application of combat capabilities of aviation units, military equipment, means of destruction, control and support bodies has been carried out.
In the phase of dynamic change of the situation, the issue of combat use of aircraft means of destruction on ground targets at the test site was worked out.
The commander of the aviation squadron directly controlled the exercised both on the ground and in the air and additional practicing under difficult weather conditions during the day as well as at night.
During the active phase, the question of the survivability of the aviation squadron was worked out, namely, the ability to bring aircraft out of enemy attack in the shortest possible time.
“Officers of the management unit planned combat operations in accordance with the real circumstances of the enemy's air attack and hostilities,” the message reads.
