The situation in Adiivka remains difficult, and the assaults continue. Russians tried to advance on the city, but they failed.
This was reported by the Head of Avdiivka CMA Vitalii Barabash on the air of Apostrophe TV.
According to him, Russians actively use aviation every day: on average more than 20 KABs fall on the city.
Commenting on the information of some media that the occupants advanced in the area of the restaurant "Tsarske Polyuvannya" along Soborna Street on the southern side of Avdiivka, and also advanced along Kolosov and Lermontov Streets, Barabash confirmed Russian attempts to advance. But without success.
"Nothing is happening there on Kolosov and Lermontov Streets. Russians tried to do something on Yasynovatsky Lane, but they failed. Regarding the restaurant "Tsarske Polyuvannya", there were indeed attempts of Russians to advance, from our side there were maneuvers on the withdrawal and approach," - he noted.
According to the Head of the CMA, currently "Tsarske Polyuvannya" for about two days has been controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which repelled attempts by Russian special forces and deep intelligence of the occupants.
"Our fighters there know every bush and every corner, the territory remains fortified, so it is easier for us to carry out mining and other activities to deter the enemy from advancing," he said.
Earlier, we reported that BMP "Bradley" with Ukrainian crew destroyed a modern Russian tank T-90M "Breakthrough".
