President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that due to the lack of international aid, Ukraine has completely run out of missiles for air defense of the Trypillia Thermal Power Plant, so the Russians were able to destroy it.
The President of Ukraine said this in an interview with PBS.
As an example, Volodymyr Zelensky pointed out that during the joint defense of Israel, the allies used everything that was lacking in Ukraine:
"A lot of things that Ukraine is lacking were used... This is really a demonstration of what allies are not on paper, but in the sky."
He emphasized that Ukraine should instead defend the sky on its own. Zelensky pointed out that allies are helping Ukraine by providing certain equipment, but "..we have a deficit of it."
As an example, he recalls the attack on the Trypillia Power Plant, noting that 4 missiles destroyed the plant because Ukraine ran out of missiles to defend it:
"I'll give you a very simple example - the Trypillia TPP, the electricity supply in the Kyiv Region depends on it. 11 missiles were flying towards it. We destroyed the first 7, 4 destroyed Trypillia. Why? Because there were zero missiles. We ran out of all the missiles that defended Trypillia."
