Russians hit Balakliya in Kharkiv Region, many injured

On April 25, the Russian occupiers carried out another attack in Kharkiv Region - Balakliya, Izyum District, was hit. Seven citizens were wounded.

This was reported by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleh Syniehubov, on his Telegram channel.

He noted that a hit was recorded near the city's railway station. Initially, five victims were reported - three women and two men. However, the number has increased.

The Head of Kharkiv RMA said that details are being established. All emergency services are on the scene.

According to the National Police, Russia struck the city at 16:20 p.m. They noted that six civilians sustained light injuries as a result of the enemy shelling.

Police officers promptly arrived at the site of the enemy shelling and are providing assistance to the victims.

"The investigative team is documenting the consequences of the enemy shelling," the police added.

Earlier, the Mayor of Kharkiv said that the city may face the fate of Syrian Aleppo, which was subjected to large-scale bombing by Russian and Syrian government forces ten years ago.
