Zelenskyy: Russia used more than 800 KAB bombs against Ukraine in a week

Over the past week alone, Russia dropped more than 800 guided aerial bombs on the territory of Ukraine.

This was announced by the Head of State in a video posted on his Facebook page.

On June 30, he wrote that in just one week, Russian occupation forces had used more than 800 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine:

"This week alone, Russia has used more than 800 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine. Against our cities and communities, against our people, against everything that ensures normal life."

In view of this, he once again emphasized the need for the necessary forces and means to destroy the carriers of the KAB bombs:

"Ukraine needs the necessary forces and means to destroy the carriers of these bombs, including Russian combat aircraft where it is deployed. This step is needed".

"Clear decisions that will help protect our people. Long-range strikes and modern air defense are the basis for stopping the daily Russian terror. I am grateful to all partners who understand this," the President of Ukraine wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, we also reported that The Washington Post learned about dozens of incidents involving Russian bombs falling on Russian territory. At least 38 glide bombs launched by Russians into Ukraine fell in the Belgorod Region between April 2023 and April 2024.
