Zelensky denied the loss of F-16s and reported receiving new ones

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied reports that Russian occupiers have shot down an F-16. Instead, he announced the arrival of new aircraft.

The Ukrainian leader said this during a Zoom briefing with journalists.

"The Russians are lying that they shot down something there, they didn't shoot down anything. And the good news is that several F-16 planes have flown to Ukraine," Zelensky said.

In this context, let us recall that information was spreading online that the enemy had shot down an F-16 in the Sumy region.

This statement by the Russians was also denied by Yuriy Ignat, a spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He reported on his Facebook page:

"RUSHNpropaganda has again 'shot down' our plane! This time an F-16. 'All targets shot down!' - Putin's troops are fed!"

Instead, he notes that the F-16 pilots once again successfully practiced against the enemy:

"And so every day, combat work continues! I am proud of our pilots!".

"Apostrophe" also wrote that starting April 1, Poland will patrol the airspace over the Baltic countries. F-16 fighter jets have been deployed for this purpose.
