The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, commented on the Russian attack on March 20 on Odessa, where he was during his visit.
The Czech head of state said this at a press conference.
So, when asked if he saw the explosions, he said that he actually left the city a few minutes before the attack.
"We left the city about 20 minutes before the loud explosions started. It wasn't because of an incident, we were there for a scheduled period of time and it just happened to be a coincidence," he explained.
The President of the Czech Republic is on a visit to Ukraine. The politician visited Odessa and met with the leaders of the Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson OVA. During the meetings, Russian troops launched three groups of "Shaheeds" on the evening of March 20 in Odessa.
As a reminder, Czech President Petr Pavel allowed 60 citizens to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the war against Russia.
