The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified that after the strike on the Engels-2 airfield of the Aerospace Forces, which was carried out on the night of March 20, the enemy lost 96 cruise missiles.
This is stated in a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"According to updated information, as a result of the strike by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the Engels-2 airfield of the Russian Aerospace Forces on March 20, 2025, the enemy lost 96 air-launched cruise missiles. In particular, as a result of secondary detonation," the report specifies.
It is known that the damaged cruise missiles were designed for three strikes on Ukraine during March-April of this year.
In addition, strikes on aviation fuel storage sites led to the destruction of significant reserves, which negatively affects the Russian aggressor's ability to conduct combat operations.
"Apostrophe" also wrote that a number of unique nuances were highlighted in the successful Ukrainian special operation with the strike on the Engels airfield.
