During the Great War, the Russians attacked Ukrainian ports more than 50 times: who got the most?

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has attacked Ukrainian seaports more than 50 times. The highest number of strikes was recorded in 2023.

The map of attacks on Ukrainian ports was compiled by the publication "Word and Deed".

In particular, during this time, the occupiers attacked the Odessa Commercial Sea Port about eight times and repeatedly other port infrastructure in Odessa and the region. The Izmail Commercial Sea Port was attacked the same number of times.

The Russians struck the Mykolaiv seaport twice, and also struck other port infrastructure in the city.

About 5 times Russian troops attacked the port in Reni, the same number of times the port "Pivdenny". The port "Chornomorsk" was attacked three times. Once each, the occupiers attacked the port in Berdyansk, the ports "Olvia" and "Nika-Tera".

In 2022, the Russian Federation attacked Ukrainian ports seven times - in Berdyansk, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, in Odessa, twice in Mykolaiv, as well as in the ports of Olvia and Nika-Tera.

The number of attacks in 2023 increased sharply - enemies began to actively attack Ukrainian ports, starting in July, after it withdrew from the grain agreement.

So, on July 18, the Russians struck the Odessa port, the port of Chornomorsk, and the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv, and on July 19, again on Chornomorsk and the port in Odessa.

On August 16, September 3 and 6, the Russians attacked the Reniysky seaport, on September 6, 13 and 26, October 12, and December 7 – Izmailsky.

However, during 2024, Russian attacks repeatedly targeted the port infrastructure in Kherson and the region, Odessa and the region. The port of Pivdenny was attacked twice, and Izmailsky and Chornomorsk were attacked once.

At the same time, this year Russia attacked: on January 25 and February 14 – the port "Pivdennyi", on January 29 and February 24 – port infrastructure in the Odessa region, on January 17 – the port of Izmail, on January 31, March 1 and 12 – the port of Odessa , and on February 13 – the port of Reniy.

Recall that during the negotiations in Saudi Arabia, an agreement was reached to ensure safe shipping in the Black Sea , but in return, Russia demands the lifting of some sanctions. Volodymyr Zelensky hopes that the agreement will also include the absence of attacks on ports.
