A Ukrainian woman shared the story of how Ukrzaliznytsia agreed to her request to delay a train.
She said this on her Facebook page.
Halyna Odnorog was traveling from Ireland to Kyiv. She recalls that the train from Krakow was an hour and a half late.
"I beg you, Ukrzaliznytsia!!! I'm going to Ukraine from Ireland by two planes, then by train from Krakow to Przemysl and to Kyiv Intercity. But all the planes arrived on time, and probably for the first time the train from Krakow was late by an hour and a half."
According to the Ukrainian woman, she was not alone on the train: "I am not alone on this train and the train conductor told me that everything depends on Ukrzaliznytsia. I kindly ask you to wait for us, because we simply will not be able to buy flowers on the next train because the website is down."
Under her post, UZ replied:
"Galyna Gennadiivna Odnorog Train 716 Przemysl - Kyiv will be delayed until the last passenger from the Krakow flight transfers to our train! Don't worry and pass this information on to all your fellow travelers. See you in Ukraine!".
In her next post, Halyna Odnorog thanked UZ, telling how it all happened:
"I am infinitely grateful to Ukrzaliznytsia, and when I read the comment, I actually burst into tears... They really waited for us, the train was waiting for us!!! We are already leaving for Ukraine and today I personally felt that I am needed by my country))) I am now filled with tears."
On the morning of March 27, the heroine of the story published a photo with the comment: "How can you not love me, my Kiev)))" .
This story resonated with other Ukrainians. Active users of social networks reacted to the woman's story. In particular, blogger Yulia Babich recalls that she "also burst into tears."
