Budanov named the most secure messenger

The Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, named the most secure messenger among those in existence.

He told this in an interview with Anna Maksymchuk.

The presenter named such options as Telegram, Signal, Viber, and WhatsApp.

"Well, no matter how strange it may seem after recent events, from what has been listed, Signal is much better protected as a messenger," the head of the GUR noted.

At the same time, he added that usually attackers do not break messengers, but phones.

"Messengers are very rarely broken. It doesn't matter what messenger you have. Because they've already entered the phone," Budanov noted.

As you know, the US has recently been rocked by scandals surrounding the Signal messenger. In particular, US National Security Advisor Mike Walz accidentally added a journalist from The Atlantic to the administration's Signal chat, who saw and then published Donald Trump's team's negotiations regarding a military strike on the Houthis in Yemen.

Later, information emerged that Woltz had been discussing the war in Ukraine in Signal chats .

As Apostrophe reported, an American journalist spoke about Budanov's wife's secret visit to the United States.
