Children killed in Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih on April 4: details released

A missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on April 4 killed nine children, the youngest of whom was only three years old.

"Apostrophe" publishes what is known about the children whose lives were cut short by the Russians.

In particular, among the dead was ninth-grader Danylo Nikitsky, 15 years old. Footage of his mother Natalya holding his hand went viral.

"He is a very sincere, bright, wonderful guy. A good friend. I studied with him for 9 years. For me and other friends, this is a great loss," said one of his classmates, Elizabeth.

Also among the dead was seven-year-old Arina Samodina. A second-grader who was the youngest in her class. On April 4, during the missile strike, she was outside with her grandfather. They died together.⠀


The following died from a Russian cluster ballistic missile: Konstantin - 16 years old, Nikita - 17 years old, Nikita - 15 years old.

The Russians killed seven-year-old Radysław Yatsko. The boy was driving home with his family when an explosion occurred. The full impact fell on him.

His father and grandmother are hospitalized, while his mother and 8-month-old sister Adelina are being treated at home.

Also among the dead was ninth-grader Alina Kutsenko, 15 years old.

"Alinka will forever remain in our memory as a gentle, kind, sincere, bright girl," the school said on its website.

The blow claimed the life of nine-year-old Herman Trempolets. He was a student at School 41.

The boy died in hospital from his injuries. Doctors fought for his life, but their efforts were in vain.

Earlier, "Apostrophe" wrote that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that 9 children died as a result of a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih , the youngest of whom, Timofey, was three years old, and the oldest, Mykyt, was 17 years old.
