The Russian occupation army loses about 146 soldiers and a batch of equipment for every square kilometer of Ukrainian land.
These calculations were shared by the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia".
It is noted that the calculations are based on the losses of Russian troops in the first three months of the war this year only in the Eastern direction, in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Military District.
According to the infographic, this figure is 146 occupiers per square kilometer in 3 months.
Former Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former Head of the Strategic Communications Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevhen Sasko, comments on this as follows:
"These are huge losses, considering that we are talking only about the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Special Operations Command. 146 people per km² is the equivalent of destroying several companies or even one battalion in a narrow area in a short time. This is a sign of a meat grinder, not normal combat activity."
For comparison, he cites data on losses during World War II:
"For comparison: in World War II, such levels of losses were typical of the bloodiest battles, such as Stalingrad."
Finally, he notes that the fact that so many people can be lost even in an area of one square kilometer speaks of the terrible intensity of the fighting and the complete disregard for the lives of personnel on the part of the Russian military command: "But even that is not enough. We need more Russian meat. They are working on it."
As Apostrophe previously wrote, tens of thousands of conscripts will be sent to the army in Russia in the spring of 2025. This time the number will be larger than last year.
