The Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko, responded to the statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, regarding the Russian offensive in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, emphasizing that it is currently impossible to speak with certainty about an offensive on Sumy and Kharkiv.
He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
"You shouldn't confuse the words about Sumy and Kharkiv regions with Sumy and Kharkiv. The Russians have really been active in the direction of Sumy and Kharkiv regions for quite some time now. But we can't talk about an attack on Sumy and Kharkiv for sure right now. These are completely different things. You shouldn't exactly distort the words of the military, you need to interpret them correctly," he noted.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, in an interview with the publication "Left Bank" stated that the offensive on the Sumy and Kharkiv regions had already begun.
"I can say that the president is absolutely right and this offensive has actually already begun. Because for several days, almost a week, we have been observing an almost doubling of the enemy's offensive actions in all main directions," Syrsky said.
Previously, Syrsky revealed the real reason for the recent bomber "accident" in Russia .
