Ukrainian war correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko drew attention to the fact that an American-Russian crew has been working on the International Space Station for the second day, including former Ukrainian pilot Oleksiy Zubrytskyi, who betrayed his oath in Crimea in 2014 and defected to the enemy.
Tsaplienko wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
"Zubrytskyi came into the sights of the Ukrainian Themis in March 2025 - the court recognized him as a traitor and deserter. The former Ukrainian pilot was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property in Ukraine," the correspondent noted.
Tsaplienko recalled that in 2014-2015, Zubrytsky was a pilot of the Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment in Millerovo, Rostov Region. And from 2015-2018, he served as a senior pilot of the air link of the assault aviation regiment in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, from where the occupiers launch Shahed strike drones over Ukraine.
As Apostrophe reported, the Kyiv Court of Appeal left unchanged the ruling of the court of first instance on the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention for fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych.
