Ukrainian paramedic Yulia Paevska ("Tyra") spoke about her meeting with the youngest son of British King Charles, Prince Harry, who arrived in Ukraine for an unannounced visit.
The military woman wrote about this on Facebook.
She noted that she had seen a lot in her life: pain, loss, despair, and the wiles of death. However, there are moments that pierce the armor, even the one that has grown in layers on each of those who were in the trenches, intensive care units, and punishment cells.
The military expressed admiration for the simplicity and sincerity of the British prince.
"Prince Harry arrived without pomp, without a motorcade, without theatrics. He simply stood by - like one of us. A man who knows what loss is. What it means to serve. And what it means to rise after a fall. I was infinitely happy to hug him again - as was the entire Invictus team," she wrote.
She said she was incredibly happy to hug the prince and the entire Invictus team again.
"We are all together - those who not only survived, but are holding on, helping others hold on and even joking in the process. A kind of warm international conspiracy of invincibility. Ironic, with a sparkle in the eyes and scars - external and internal, which only add strength. And to those who still have some doubts - we will not give up," Paevska emphasized.
As is known, as part of the visit, Harry held meetings with Ukrainians who suffered as a result of the Russian invasion.
Prince Harry is the founder of the Invictus Games.
We previously wrote that Prince Harry visited the modern Superhumans prosthetics center in Lviv , where Ukrainians, including military personnel, are treated.
