It became known what and in what quantity Russia bombed Ukraine at night

For the massive combined attack on Ukraine, which the Russian Federation carried out on the night of April 24, the enemy used 215 air targets, including missiles of various types, strike UAVs, and simulator drones.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported how many air attack vehicles it managed to eliminate.

From 7:30 p.m. on April 23 and throughout April 24, Russia launched various types of air-, land-, and sea-based missiles, as well as Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of simulator drones, into Ukraine.

The main direction of the attack is the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv.

In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected and tracked 215 enemy air targets:

  • 11 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (launch areas - Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk regions);
  • 37 Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area - Saratov region);
  • 6 Iskander-K cruise missiles (launch area - Donetsk region);
  • 12 Kalibr cruise missiles (from the Black Sea);
  • 4 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided aircraft missiles from tactical aircraft (launch area - Belgorod region);
  • 145 Shahed attack UAVs/simulator drones of various types (from the Bryansk, Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions - Russia; Chauda - Crimea).

As of 10:00, air defense had eliminated 112 air targets (48 missiles and 64 UAVs), including:

  • 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
  • 31 X-101 cruise missiles;
  • 6 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 4 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided aircraft missiles;
  • 64 Shahed attack UAVs.

Another 68 enemy drones-simulators were lost in location without any negative consequences.

The Air Force clarified that aviation, in particular F-16 and Mirage fighter pilots, actively participated in repelling the attack: "Ukrainian pilots are credited with dozens of downed air targets."

However, the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, and Khmelnytskyi regions suffered as a result of the Russian attack.

Earlier, "Apostrophe" reported on the consequences of the attack on Ukraine. Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko also claimed that Kyiv suffered the most - there are known deaths and injuries.

In addition, as a result of the Russian massive combined attack on the night of April 24 , the Ukrainian railway was also damaged .
