Volunteers from Paraguay, Latvia, Brazil, and the USA, who are fighting for Ukraine, told their stories and why they decided to destroy the Russian occupiers.
The press service of Ukrainian intelligence provides stories of foreign volunteers of the tactical group "Revenge" of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The warriors' combat paths are different, but the motivation to fight the Russian invaders is the same.
"I came to Ukraine and joined military intelligence because I hate Russians. And secondly, I don't want my home to be occupied if Ukraine falls (and it won't). And thirdly, the war crimes that you see in the news must be stopped," explained the special forces officer from Latvia.
"I came to fight against the Russians. We will fight for the freedom of Ukraine to the end. We will not leave you. I traveled thousands of kilometers to be able to support you. Our goal is to fight to the last Russian," said the soldier from Paraguay.
"I've been fighting in Ukraine for about two years. I'm from America, I served in the armed forces, so when the war started, I just felt like I couldn't stand aside. I knew Ukrainians before, I had a lot of friends who came here, so I decided that my skills could be useful," said the fighter from the US.
