"What a sick head he has": the National Security and Defense Council pointed out a comical nuance with Putin's "truce" for May 9

The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine noticed an important aspect in the announcement of a "truce" by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on the "symbolic date" of May 9. With this decision, the Kremlin showed the vulnerability of its defense against the Ukrainian army.

This was reported by the head of the Central Development Program at the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, on Telegram.

Kovalenko noted that the situation is very comical, because the Russian dictator is openly demonstrating his lack of confidence in his own air defense systems, and at the same time, he is not responding to the request for a full ceasefire.

"It's so comical that Putin doesn't believe in Russian air defense so much that he's afraid for his parade on May 9, and that many people may not come to this parade. At the same time, Putin doesn't stop firing because he wants to keep fighting. What a sick head he has," the head of the Central Defense Committee emphasized.

As Apostrophe wrote, on April 28, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced an upcoming short-term truce from May 8 to 10 on the occasion of the parade.
