Ukrainian blogger and military officer Kyrylo Sazonov believes that Ukraine should declare a ceasefire and ceasefire for at least 30 days today or in the coming days. And if the Russian military violates this agreement, it will simply be forced to strike back.
Sazonov wrote about this in Telegram.
He emphasized that the current massive night-time shelling of peaceful cities is not just the Kremlin's usual strategy:
"This is their old strategy - after the failure of operations "Kyiv in three days", "Odesa by lunch" and "Kharkiv in a day", the rats switched to shelling cities. Not military facilities, but simply residential areas. Blackmail. So that Ukrainians would be ready not to negotiate peace, but to beg, ask and agree to everything."
According to the blogger, this strategy turned out to be a failure, but there is no new one yet - the enemy is working according to the plans that have been agreed upon.
"But this activation now is a separate topic. The bunker rat is preparing for the "truce on May 9"," writes Sazonov.
In his opinion, by doing this, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is trying to solve two problems at once, one of which he calls creating an appropriate informational background for his guests:
"First, create an appropriate informational background for his guests. Yes, no matter how wild it sounds to normal people, Putin will not hide his crimes from Fico or Vucic. On the contrary, he will poke their noses into the murders and proudly say - "And I can do it like this! See, this is how we defeat Ukraine." And they will nod. Maybe Fico will even smile. Well, and then they will talk about cooperation in the economic sphere, yeah. Europe, it can be cynical, it was Ukraine that was not ready, we do not have enough democracy and high corruption, yeah."
The second task, according to Sazonov, is to provoke Ukraine into a harsh response precisely at the moment of the "truce."
"Here Putin acts like a harmful, evil and cowardly teenager. It's mean to hit and run away where adults will see him. And if they come to punish him, cry and play the victim. Still, a very mean rat rules the neighbors, a simple standard of dishonor. Well, in the swamps, the herd, for the most part, has a very vague idea of honor and shame, but that's normal for them...", he says.
Ultimately, Kyrylo Sazonov concludes that Ukraine, in his opinion, should declare a truce and ceasefire for at least 30 days:
"... it seems to me that the answer to these provocations is obvious. Officially declare a truce and ceasefire for at least 30 days. Today. Or from May 1, from May 3 - it doesn't matter. Declare it loudly and call upon the Lord and Trump as witnesses to our peaceful intentions."
And in the event that the Kremlin's host violates these agreements, the military man and blogger suggests the following scenario of action:
"And if the bunker rat violates this truce, and he violates it one hundred percent... Then on May 8 or 9, we will not strike on legal grounds, no. We will deeply regret that our peace initiatives did not find understanding in Moscow. And we will emphasize that we did everything we could for peace, even unilaterally, but... we are simply forced to strike back now..."
Recall that earlier the Kremlin also spoke out about the proposal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and a ceasefire for 30 days. They said that this is impossible "without resolving all the nuances."
