Blogger and military man Yuri Kasyanov published an emotional post in which he reflects on the real reasons for half of the failures and losses on the front. He notes that this is not because the United States of America did not provide assistance. For clarity, he mentions the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"Our American friends are scaring us, and at the same time Europe and the entire civilized world, with the rapid collapse of Ukrainian defense, unless Ukraine agrees to the Trump-Putin conditions," he writes, suggesting a more rational view of the war.
He recalls that in 2022, contrary to all predictions, Ukraine did not surrender and the front did not collapse, although the enemy reached Kyiv, "and in that long history, the Americans and our other allies had the least merit."
Kasyanov points out that the spring victory of 2022 near Kyiv was not ensured by Bradleys, Abrams, Leopards, 155-mm howitzers from NATO countries, American intelligence, or Starlink:
"The victory was won by Ukrainian soldiers and volunteers."
According to the blogger, the Kharkiv offensive, which, like the "Kyiv Defensive Operation", was successful again not thanks to the allies, but "rather thanks to the enemy, who stretched his forces, counting on a blitzkrieg."
"In the operation to liberate the right bank and Kherson, Haimars, 777 howitzers, and many Starlinks were already actively used, and American intelligence worked for us. But again, the victory was ensured by Ukrainian soldiers and the miscalculations of the Russian command," the military man and blogger emphasizes in the message.
Instead, I decided to note:
"Then the empire came to its senses, analyzed its mistakes, shot (fired) negligent commanders, accumulated forces, conducted a partial mobilization, built the Surovikin Line, used the Wagnerites as fuel for meat assaults, took Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, besieged Bakhmut, and nullified this entire grand spectacle called the "Great Counteroffensive," which was talked about from every iron. Although at that time we had plenty of Western equipment, ammunition, money, and support. But it turned out to be a bloody mess."
Afterwards, Kasyanov recalls the Congressional freeze on aid to Ukraine, mobilization, Trump's victory in the US elections, and " everything is so bad that now no one is saying a word about our victory, only about the conditions of defeat."
"So who is our doctor? Fifty percent of our failures and losses are not because the Americans did not help, but because we ourselves are fools. And how this whole story will end in the end is still completely unknown. If there are fewer fools, then we can easily return to the glorious year of 2022," the blogger concludes.
