Syrsky: Russians focused their main efforts on the Pokrovsky direction

The Russian occupation army, despite loud statements of readiness for a ceasefire, increased the intensity of hostilities. The enemy focused its main efforts on the Pokrovsky direction.

This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.

"The lack of prospects in operational and tactical terms does not stop the enemy, he is stubbornly trying to break through the defense of our troops in this direction and reach the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region," he clarifies.

The Russian command continues to throw new units into battle every day, drives its soldiers to their deaths, and reports illusory successes.

"In connection with the above situation, I dedicated the day to work in our brigades, which are holding the defense in this particular direction, in order to resolve problematic issues and provide assistance to unit commanders in organizing combat operations," the commander-in-chief reported.

He listened to the commanders and made a decision on additional provision of ammunition, drones, electronic warfare equipment, and reserves. Special emphasis was placed on unmanned strike systems.

The enemy, despite constant pressure and attempts to break through, continues to suffer losses and retreat, Syrsky adds.

We will remind, earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported on the intensification of work to attract young people aged 18-24 to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
