SSU drones successfully tested at key Russian defense plants - Basalt and Splav

This night, long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine struck two military-industrial complex plants in the Russian rear.

An informed source in the SSU told Apostrophe about this.

In particular, drones hit Basalt, the main Russian defense enterprise for the production of weapons and ammunition for all branches of the Russian army (Krasnoarmiysk, Moscow region). Local residents there counted at least 7 explosions, after which a fire broke out.

The Splav plant, the only enterprise in the Russian Federation that designs and develops multiple launch rocket systems and cartridges (Tula), was also hit. After the drones arrived, a severe fire and smoke erupted on the territory of the enterprise.

The movement of Ukrainian drones forced the Russians to introduce a "carpet plan" in the Moscow region, which involves closing airports. This created a transport collapse. Airlines canceled hundreds of flights.

"Unlike the Russians, who strike at residential high-rise buildings in peaceful cities, the SSU is working clearly on military facilities that help the enemy carry out armed aggression against Ukraine. Work on weakening Russia's military capabilities will continue," an informed source in the SSU reported.

As Apostrophe reported, the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country announced the destruction of a record number of Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours, calling the attack the largest since February 2022 .
