In Germany, archaeologists discovered a bronze sword preserved in excellent condition, believed to be more than 3,000 years old.
This is reported by "The Epoch Times".
It is noted that the sword has an ornamented octagonal handle of pure bronze and is a very rare find.
The Nördlingen sword comes from a grave containing the remains of three people - a man, a woman and a teenager - buried along with many bronze items. Experts have determined that the sword was made in Bavaria on the territory of modern Southeastern Germany.
Although there is no evidence that the sword was ever used, the Bavarian State Office for Monument Protection believes it was a real weapon.
