Abu Dhabi demolishes four unfinished towers of Mina Plaza in 10 seconds

The Government of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, has demolished the Mina Plaza Towers in 10 seconds with improvised and control implosion on Friday morning.

This was reported by Gulf News.

According to the publication, four 144-floors towers in 10 seconds became just the ruins. The explosion set a world record as the safest controlled explosion in the world.

As was noted, over the past few days, experts have been studying the effect of demolition. The authorities charted the plan to carry out an action with non-primary explosives. These explosives have an exceptional safety record. With the demolition of the towers, the second phase of the revitalization of the Mina Zayed area in AbuDhabi has started.

A new shopping and tourist center will be built there instead of the Mina Plaza Towers complex.
