Andriy Matyukha and the Favbet Foundation Launch New Initiatives to Support Youth Sports and Educational Programs
company news
In 2025, the Favbet Foundation and its president, Andriy Matyukha, continued to develop a range of programs aimed at promoting physical activity among children, expanding basic knowledge of first aid in the sports environment, and improving the quality of coach training. This was stated in an official release from the Favbet Foundation’s press service.
In 2025, the Foundation, in partnership with the international organization FAST, launched a series of trainingsessions for members of the sports community. The program is designed to provide coaches and athletes with basic preparedness in emergency response during training or competition.
The curriculum includes several key areas: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), controlling external bleeding, and providing assistance during heart attacks and strokes.
In January–February 2025 alone, 10 training sessions were conducted for 212 participants. By the end of the year, the plan is to reach over 1,600 more participants across various regions of Ukraine.
Training participants included coaches and athletes from multiple disciplines—gymnastics, track and field, weightlifting, judo, rowing, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling—who were able to enhance their readiness to provide first aid during training sessions and official competitions.
Participants gained practical skills with a clear focus on standardized procedures during critical incidents. This educational initiative is part of the Foundation’s broader approach to ensuring basic safety in the field of youth and children’s sports.
At the initiative of the Favbet Foundation and with the participation of the SpartaBox club, a "Winter Spartakiad" was held—a sports event for children aged 6 to 14. The highlights of the event included “wrestling basketball” and a “belt wrestling” tournament.
The goal of the Winter Spartakiad was not only to offer physical activity, but also to foster social skills and resilience in difficult circumstances. Participation in such events teaches children to interact, overcome challenges, and work as a team.
Favbet Foundation President Andriy Matyukha emphasizes the importance of combining sports with educational approaches to help shape a responsible younger generation. That is why one of the Foundation’s key areas of activity is the charitable initiative "Superheroes Club," which is implemented within the broader Favbet Kids charity program.
The program is aimed at children of military personnel and internally displaced persons who need a safe and supportive environment for physical development and extracurricular education.
Favbet Foundation creates the conditions for systematic engagement in sports without financial burden on families. The sections are open to all interested children, training is held on a regular schedule, and participation is free of charge.
Parents or guardians can find information on how to join the “Superheroes Club,” the training schedule, and other details on the Favbet Foundation’s Facebook page.
The Foundation has developed a comprehensive long-term strategy—its educational and sports programs aim to create accessible sections, remove financial barriers, foster children’s critical thinking through interactive formats, and support coaches in their work. Andriy Matyukha and the Favbet Foundation plan to continue expanding the range of programs, reaching new target audiences and regions.
