About 8 billion UAH of taxes: businessman Bakhmatyuk's companies told about their payments to the budget
The sum of taxes and fees the Ukrainian state budget got from the Ukrlаndfarming and Avangard Group of Companies in three years is UAH 7.722 billion.
This was announced by the agricultural giant's press service in a statement posted on its official website, reported Ukrainian News.
During 2017-2019, the Group of Companies Ukrlandfarming and Avangard paid 7.722 billion UAH to the state budget. 3.9 billion UAH was allocated to the state budget (VAT - 2.1 billion, income tax - 31.4 million, single social contribution - 1.5 billion, military fee - 234 million). 3.65 billion UAH was paid to local budgets (personal income tax - 2.4 billion, single tax (group 4) - 449 million, land tax and land lease tax - 779 million). Other taxes and fees were paid in the amount of 167 million UAH. In addition, the company notes that it provides employment to about 27 thousand Ukrainians and generates about 1% of GDP of Ukraine.
At the same time, the company noted that in three years it received UAH 449 million from the state subsidies, and during the last two years the company received subsidies only for the maintenance of cows and young cattle. This industry is traditionally subsidized in the European Union countries. In 2019 the amount of subsidies received by the group of companies was only UAH 12 million out of UAH 4 billion distributed by the state among the agrarians.
The group of companies Ukrlandfarming and Avangard is one of the largest agricultural holdings in the country according to the size of the land bank. Enterprises of the group of companies operate in 600 settlements in 22 regions of Ukraine. The group of companies is engaged in cultivation of grain and oilseeds, seeds, livestock and production of eggs and egg products. The agricultural holding companies are one of the major taxpayers in Ukraine.
