Ukraine and Turkey have reached important agreements on the free trade zone: figures were announced

On Wednesday, August 7, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the need to complete negotiations on the establishment of a free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey.

He said this at a joint press conference on the results of negotiations with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Ankara, according to "European truth".

According to Erdogan, in 2018 the trade turnover between Ukraine and Turkey amounted to about USD 4 billion.

"Finally, it is time to finalize the negotiation process on drawing up an agreement on a free trade zone, the negotiations on which have been going on for many years," Erdogan said.

In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky said that the trade turnover between the countries can really increase to USD 10 billion dollars.

According to "Apostrophe", the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Turkey expressed confidence that the occupied Crimea will be returned under the control of Ukraine.
