Three people, including a young child, were killed in a Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of March 23. In a number of districts of the capital, debris from downed drones damaged apartment buildings.
This was reported by the press services of the Kyiv City State Police and the Kyiv Police .
According to local authorities, the consequences of the enemy attack as of this morning are as follows:
Podilskyi district:
— the fall of a downed UAV in an industrial zone. No damage.
— fire on the 20th floor of a residential building. The fire was extinguished.
Dniprovskyi district:
— fire on the upper floors of a 9-story residential building. The fire has been extinguished.
— damage to the building of a public catering establishment, without fire.
— debris falling on a high-rise building. No fire.
— damage to an apartment on the 6th floor of a 16-story residential building: window, floor, and ceiling.
Holosiivskyi district:
— falling debris and fire in a non-residential area - in a 4-story office and warehouse building, with an area of 2,000 sq. m., as well as a fire in a metal container.
Desnyanskyi district:
— falling debris in the forest park strip. Currently eliminated.
Shevchenkivskyi district:
— debris fell in a residential area, 6 cars were damaged.
"As a result of the enemy attack, 10 people received various injuries, and three more died. Among the dead was a 5-year-old child," law enforcement officials added.
At the same time, the KMVA clarified that among the dead were a father and his young daughter. And the youngest victim of the Russian attack was only 11 months old.
The National Police say the total number of deaths in the city is three, including a 5-year-old child. The Kyiv City Military Administration added that a father and his daughter were killed. There are also 10 injured in the city, the youngest of whom is 11 months old.
Kyiv police investigative teams and forensic experts continue to work on the ground, helping people and documenting the consequences of another Russian attack on the city.
As a reminder, on March 18, an air raid alert was sounded in Kyiv due to a drone threat. After air defenses worked, the drone's debris fell on the school grounds.
