An elderly woman was injured in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv: the explosive part of a drone shot down during a night attack went off with a delay.
This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
As reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, detonation of unknown explosive objects was recorded in the Darnytskyi district: about 10 explosions occurred in the forest park area. There is also information about an explosion on the roof of a residential building, as a result of which its roof was partially damaged.
"It is likely that cluster munitions that the Russians dropped from UAVs are exploding, but we can say for sure after conducting a special examination to determine the origin of these explosive elements," he noted, urging not to approach or touch suspicious objects.
"Explosions of delayed cluster munitions, which were scattered by enemy suicide bombers at night in the town of Bortnychi, are possible. Dear citizens, if possible, stay in safe places (preferably a basement). If you discover a suspicious object, immediately take cover and call the police - giving the law enforcement officers a detailed description of the location of the suspicious object," the Darnytsia district administration urged.
As we reported, on the night of May 1, Russia carried out a massive attack on Odessa, using "Shahed" strike drones.
