President Volodymyr Zelensky’s policy advisor Mykyta Poturaiev stated that politics – at any level – could not exist without media, as reported by “Detector Media”.
According to Poturaiev, he does not agree with Andrii Bohdan’s claim that journalists do not need to act as mediators between politicians and their electoral base. The advisor stressed that such a statement was Bohdan’s personal opinion.
“Journalists have also stopped hearing people, chasing after views and advertisement,” he noted.
The politician has also voiced his disagreement with the opinion that “1+1” channel played a crucial role in Zelensky’s victory. Poturaiev believes oligarchs are the only thing that supports the most expensive Ukrainian media afloat.
As “Apostrophe” reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky found himself in an awkward situation when called a journalist a “boy”.
