Aliyev refused to fly to the parade in Moscow

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has refused to fly to Moscow for the May 9 Victory Day parade in World War II, where he was invited by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

This was stated by the assistant to the Russian dictator, Yuri Ushakov, according to Russian media.

"Aliyev will not fly to Moscow for the Victory Parade," the media quoted Ushakov as saying.

It is known that earlier Russian dictator Vladimir Putin sent Aliyev a congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, in which he stated the significance of the traditions of friendship and mutual assistance between the peoples of the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan during the war.

Putin invited a number of world leaders to the event, but only a few agreed to visit Russia.

We also reported that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's plane was forced to land in Azerbaijan due to the paralysis of Russian airports. The Serbian leader was heading to Moscow to take part in a parade on Red Square.

We should add that the attack on Ukrainian UAVs led to problems with Russian air traffic . The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country announced the destruction of a record number of Ukrainian drones in the last 24 hours, calling the attack the largest since February 2022 .

"Apostrophe" previously wrote that the Russian authorities demonstrated complete disregard in the issue of the shooting down of the Azerbaijani civilian Azerbaijan Airlines , which was operating the Baku-Grozny flight. According to analysts, this indicates that Putin does not treat even his partners in a humane manner.
