The Court of Appeal in France closed the so-called "DNR Center" in Marseille and found it illegally founded, as was shared on Twitter by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
“Officially confirmed: the Court of Appeal in France closed the so-called "DPR center" in Marseilles, declared it insignificant and illegally founded. The association will be dissolved, its premises will be closed, and meetings of all members will be prohibited. We fought for it for a long time and won. I am grateful to the court for a fair decision,” Kuleba tweeted.
It's worth noting that the "DNR center" was opened in Marseille in September 2017 and registered as a public association, which does not require prior permission. French law enforcement officers appealed to the court, but in 2018, it was decided not to close the DPR Center. The current decision of the Court of Appeal means the organization's activities have been eventually banned.
