We need to "hold Russia accountable": Blinken made a statement on the eve of his visit to Ukraine

The Russian Federation must adhere to its international obligations and must be held accountable for its aggressive actions, Antony Blinken said on his Twitter page.

This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on his Twitter page on the eve of his visit to Ukraine.

We need to work together to call out Russia’s behavior, hold Russia accountable for its actions, and press Moscow to adhere to its international commitments and obligations,” Blinken stated.

In response to Blinken’s tweet, U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said that Russia must uphold its commitments under the Minsk agreements and work in good faith to end the conflict in eastern Ukraine as well as it must end its illegal occupation of Crimea.

As was earlier reported by Apostrophe, U.S. President Joe Biden said he hopes to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in June during his trip to Europe.
