U.S. President Joe Biden in Brussels answered the question whether he still considers Vladimir Putin a killer following the NATO summit in Brussels. He said this at a press conference, RBC reports.
Journalists told Biden that Vladimir Putin laughed at the suggestion that Biden had called him a “killer.” Biden replied, "I'm laughing, too."
“Well, look, I mean, he has made clear that — the answer is: I believe he has, in the past, essentially acknowledged that he was — there were certain things that he would do or did do. But look, when I was asked that question on air, I answered it honestly. But it’s not much of a — I don’t think it matters a whole lot, in terms of this next meeting we’re about to have,” Biden added when asked whether it is still his belief that Putin is a killer.
According to the U.S. president, the situation is not of much importance from the point of view of the upcoming meeting with Putin.
