The Russian authorities said that the international summit "Crimean Platform" might have "awful consequences" for its participants.
This was stated by the so-called Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean Government, Permanent Representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.
“The Crimean Platform is not just a small provocation. Therefore, we need to clearly indicate what consequences can await the participants of the upcoming summit, as they intend to doubt the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, encroach on our territory and the lives of our citizens who have lived on the ancient land of Tavrida for centuries," Muradov said.
He believes that one of the restrictive measures and possible sanctions can be freezing the assets and banning entry into Russia.
It is known that representatives of 30 states and international organizations willparticipate in the first summit of the Crimean Platform, which will be held on August 23 in Kyiv. At the same time, the leaders of the Normandy format countries will not participate in the summit.
