The Pentagon made an important statement on military support to Ukraine

The United States is ready to provide Ukraine with everything necessary in the context of military aggression and concentration of Russian troops on the border, as was warned by Pentagon head Lloyd Austin.

According to him, Washington is concerned about the build-up of Russian military units along the Ukrainian-Russian border and noted that the United States is ready to provide its military assistance so that "Kyiv has what is necessary to protect the sovereign territory".

Lloyd Austin warned that the White House would look for different ways to provide assistance to Ukraine and added that under the current conditions of military aggression by the Russian Federation, "there is a room for diplomacy and the cooperation of leaders".

However, the Pentagon chief did not explain his statement and did not predict the results of the negotiations between Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, U.S. intelligence warned about a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine and reported that the Kremlin plans to involve 175,000 military personnel in the attack.
