An extraordinary virtual meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs will be held via VTC on Friday 7 January 2022. This is stated by the NATO press center.

It is noted that during the meeting NATO Foreign Ministers will discuss Russia’s military build-up in and around Ukraine and broader European security issues.

The meeting will start on 7 January 2022 at 14h00. The Secretary General is expected to brief the press after the meeting at +16:15 (TBC).

It should be noted that earlier NATO confirmed that a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council will be held on January 12 this year.
