The Kremlin is deciding on the withdrawal from the Minsk agreements

The issue of the Minsk agreements is no longer on the agenda, currently, the topic of security guarantees for the Russian Federation is a priority.

This was stated by the press-secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday, February 22.

He noted that the likelihood of holding an emergency summit of the Normandy Four will depend on specific proposals to the agenda, and added that it should be a dialogue not just a waste of time.

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov could not give a clear answer to journalists' questions about the borders in which Russia recognized the "independence" of the so-called "L/DPR". Journalists eight times asked the same questions trying to clarify what he meant and whether, for example, Mariupol is a part of these territories, but Peskov never answered.
