US and Canadian leaders in Poland decide how else to punish Russia for the war in Ukraine

On Monday, March 14, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau discussed new sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Kamala Harris wrote about the negotiations on Twitter.

"In Poland, I met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada to discuss our united response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Our coordinated response, from sanctions to other economic measures, is rooted in our shared commitment to supporting the people of Ukraine," the message reads.

Earlier, Russian businessman Yevgeny Chichvarkin, who was forced to leave the Russian Federation, persecutedbyKremlin, said that as a result of sanctions already imposed against the background of Putin's invasion of Ukraine, the country's economy would collapse, and people will face total impoverishment.
