The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned US Ambassador to Moscow Lynne Tracy and issued her a demarche over the June 23 missile attack on Russian-occupied Ukrainian Sevastopol.

The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the United States is waging a hybrid war against Russia and has actually become a party to the conflict, as it supplies Ukraine with its modern weapons, including ATACMS missiles. These missiles with cluster warheads, according to the Russians, were used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the attack on Sevastopol the day before.
"The involvement of the United States in this horrible crime is beyond doubt. Washington and its satellites have created and fostered the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv, actively nurturing and supporting their Ukrainian puppets, waging war against Russia with their hands. There will definitely be a response to this crime," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It did not specify how Russia would retaliate against the United States.
