Lithuania to allocate 0.25% of its GDP for military aid to Ukraine

Lithuania has decided to allocate at least 0.25% of its GDP to support Ukraine's security and defence.

This was announced by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda.

Such a decision was made by the State Defense Council of the country.

"Lithuania will continue to stand firmly by Ukraine until victory. We will always support freedom," - said the President of Lithuania.

The Czech government has already provided Ukraine with the first batch of artillery ammunition under the Czech initiative and plans to send the second batch in July.
