Ukraine will not strike at facilities in Russia provided that the Russian Federation does not strike at Ukrainian facilities.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this at a press conference following his visit to Finland.
" Putin's words that he is giving the order not to strike at the energy sector are not enough. An example is yesterday's strike, including at the energy infrastructure. He said that he gave the order, after that there were 145 strike drones and 6 missiles. Strikes on 6 regions. 21 residential buildings. This is the price of Putin's words ," he said.
He emphasized that real control is needed.
" If the Russians don't hit our facilities, we definitely won't hit their facilities ," Zelensky said.
He also said that on March 19 he will have a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump, during which the details of the next steps will be discussed.
Earlier, the Internet ridiculed the Russian Ministry of Defense's "execution" of Putin's order to shoot down its own drones targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
