Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had an awkward encounter with French leader Emmanuel Macron during a Zoom briefing for journalists.
The corresponding video was actively spreading on social networks.
The French President called Zelensky during a conversation with journalists. The Ukrainian leader, answering the call, asked if it would be possible to call back in 15-20 minutes.
"I just spoke with President Macron. We communicate with him very often, once a day, I would say. We have very close relations between our countries, he helps a lot. I am grateful to him for that," says Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
We will also recall that during this Zoom briefing, Zelensky denied information that the Russian occupiers had allegedly shot down an F-16. Instead, he announced the arrival of new aircraft.
