Zelenskyy called Trump the only person Putin is truly afraid of

United States leader Donald Trump is able to force Russia to make concessions because he is the only one Russian dictator Vladimir Putin fears.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with "The Time".

He noted that when the US threatened to tighten sanctions against Moscow for its continuous bombing of Ukraine, "the Russians really got scared."

He also stated that the Russian Federation managed to influence some people in the team of the new US presidential administration thanks to information that Ukraine does not want to end the war, and something needs to be done to force it.

"I believe that Russia managed to influence some people in the White House team with information. Their signal to the Americans was that the Ukrainians do not want to end the war, and something must be done to force them," he said.

He also commented on Trump's speculation about Russia's possible return to the "Group of Seven (G7). He believes that this would lift Putin's isolation for his invasion of Ukraine, which is a great compromise. It's like releasing Adolf Hitler from political isolation, he explained.

Earlier, Zelenskyy commented on the statement of the White House spokeswoman that, in Trump's opinion, American ownership of Ukrainian nuclear power plants would be the best protection for this infrastructure. The Ukrainian president emphasized that he was talking exclusively about the Zaporizhzhia NPP .

We also wrote that the US Presidential Administration seeks to review the terms of access to Ukraine's strategically important minerals and energy assets.
